Postmortem


I think the project ended up looking nice. The frame rates aren't too nice though, I should've optimized it more. And, I feel like there could've been more particles and interaction with the world. There are a scarce amount of props you can throw around (and most of them I couldn't get to highlight). I couldn't find good places to insert large animated objects either. But, I do want to move on from this project. The amount of time it took to compile shaders and make builds made it a bit frustrating. Again, like a lot of my past projects, I had a lot of ideas but wasn't able to fully implement all of them. It was super interesting to work with the new technology in 5.1 though. I learned many things.
